Frequently asked questions about web design
Will we lose our Google rankings in a relaunch?
Not if the move is planned properly. Before we rebuild, we record every existing URL, carry over the content and permanently redirect changed URLs to the matching new page. That way content and rankings move with you, even if there are thousands of URLs.
Can we maintain the content ourselves?
Yes. We set up the content management system so that your team changes texts, images and pages itself, without coding skills. On multilingual websites, too, your team maintains every language itself.
Does our website have to be accessible?
The European Accessibility Act, which Germany implements as the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), applies to many online stores and digital services for consumers. Whether it affects your site is something we clarify in a call. We design for accessibility anyway: with sufficient contrast, keyboard navigation, clear headings and alt texts.
Do you also design online stores?
Yes. We design and build shops with Shopware 6, JTL-Shop, Shopify and WooCommerce and connect them to your inventory system, for example JTL-Wawi, Xentral or weclapp.
Which system do you build websites with?
For new websites we recommend Astro. Astro sites load fast, are future-proof and AI-ready: AI assistants can read the content cleanly too. We work just as well with TYPO3, WordPress and Webflow and take over existing sites. We decide with you which system fits, based on your team and what is already in place.
How long does a web design project take?
That depends on the scope: the number of pages, languages and connections to other systems. You get the scope and schedule before you decide. We build in stages that you see and approve.
